Suzuki GT250A

Beautiful Suzuki GT250A for sale. The GT250A is from 1976 and the 1st registration for public road is from 12-02-1979. This GT is still in the original paint, with a little patina. No dents in the tank. The chrome is nice, except the rear mudguard is in bad shape. The front wing is reasonable, but could be nicer. For the rest, this GT is very beautiful in every detail and the engine runs perfectly. A beautiful 2-stroke from the 70s for a nice price. The GT has German papers with it. Import into the Netherlands can be arranged by us.

The Ram Air cylinder head was no longer used on the 1976 GT250A (some early 1976s still had it), new cylinder fins had to make up for it. The model got cleaner lines, thanks to the omission of the rather large Ram Air unit. The new four-port SCAV engine delivered slightly more power (the previous one had only two ports), a wash-out air filter, revised second and third gear ratios and a four (instead of three) bearing crankshaft. The new crankshaft also meant slightly different oil channels for the two-stroke feed, the barrels were also constructed differently with different spindle spacings, and rubber intake stubs used to attach the carburettors. The passenger footpegs were moved from the swingarm to the frame. The side panel lost its false air intakes.

According to engine tests of the time, the A-model was faster and had more punch in the top end, but lacked power below 4,000 rpm compared to earlier models.
