The limited edition street legal version of the GSX-R750R was introduced in 1986. The basic specifications of the bike were the same as the standard model (with the exception of the seat height), but the "double R" model offered some interesting extras that further improved an already great bike. The gun-coat engine paint, gold-plated chain, blue-painted wheels and two sets of race numbers don't stop there. The 1986 GSX-R750R even featured a new electrically activated front suspension system (NEAS), floating 310mm front brake discs, steering damper, adjustable race clutch lever, dry clutch, single race seat and remote rear shock reservoir.
