Ultra-Rare First-Series Telaio Rosso

Hand-built as part of the first 90 red-frame V7 Sport machines, this bike represents the most collectible and sought-after evolution of the model. It is pure, early-seventies Moto Guzzi heritage in its most desirable form.

Beautifully Preserved, Gently Ridden

With just 10,936 km, careful ownership and only minor cosmetic marks, this V7 Sport has aged with grace. It offers the perfect balance of originality, authenticity and light patina that true connoisseurs appreciate.

Documented History & German Vintage Registration

From privileged Italian dealer delivery to Italian collection and lighthousemoto custody since 1998, its story is clear and credible. The German vintage registration and period magazines make it an exceptional package for discerning collectors.

About this motorcycle

Moto Guzzi Telaio Rosso VK V7 Sport

This Moto Guzzi V7 Sport “Telaio Rosso” is one of the legendary first-series red-frame bikes, belonging to the ultra-rare batch of the initial 90 machines with VIN starting VK 11111. Carefully assembled in 1971 and delivered to a privileged Italian dealer, it later joined an Italian collection before becoming part of the lighthousemoto living and riding collection in 1998.
For more than five decades it has been cherished, exercised only on short pleasure rides and regular start-ups. The odometer shows just 10,936 km, supported by its beautifully preserved condition and charming light patina. It carries a German vintage registration and still wears period-correct METZELER ME77 tyres, which perfectly match its character and deliver surprisingly nimble handling.
Only minor cosmetic marks – a gentle fall-over on the right toolbox and Lafranconi silencer, plus a small chrome loss around the left mirror thread – tell the story of a life actually lived. Complete with contemporary magazines, this Telaio Rosso is not just a bike; it is a rare opportunity to own a cornerstone of Moto Guzzi’s 50th anniversary history and the spiritual forefather of the iconic Le Mans

At VintageMotorcycles.nl, we believe in full transparency, every bike is sold in the condition it’s in at the time of sale.

Some still wear their original tyres or brake lines, while others have already been updated. If you’d like additional work such as a service inspection, new tyres, or replacement brake lines, that’s always possible at an extra cost. This way, you decide how original — or how ready — your next classic should be.
