About this motorcycle
AJS Model 20 Black
The 1954 AJS Model 20 is a rare British twin that blends elegance and engineering in one iconic design. This black classic is in excellent condition with only 6 km on the clock – as if it just rolled off the production line. Sold under both AJS and Matchless G9 names, it represents a unique fusion of British heritage under the AMC group. Featuring the distinctive “Jampot” rear suspension and telescopic front forks, it delivers a smooth ride that was ahead of its time. This bike breathes history, from the golden age of British racing to the refined engineering that made AJS a legend. A chance to own a true piece of British motor culture
At VintageMotorcycles.nl, we believe in full transparency, every bike is sold in the condition it’s in at the time of sale.
Some still wear their original tyres or brake lines, while others have already been updated. If you’d like additional work such as a service inspection, new tyres, or replacement brake lines, that’s always possible at an extra cost. This way, you decide how original — or how ready — your next classic should be.
